October 2, 2011

1. Starting with the Welcome Screen, you can see the theme is Fall (yellow). This week I noticed how the Scripture and many of the songs involved contrasts. Gentiles vs Jews; Wall vs no wall; Waiting vs Strength; peace vs war; sin vs God; envy&pride vs joy; earth vs heaven. In a dream world, I would make the theme of the pictures "Contrasts".

2. All Creatures of our God and King. Covers creatures, sun, dawn, lights of evening...

3. Psalm 100 and the rest of All Creatures. Covers flowers/fruits, but not People.

4. Everlasting God. Hmm petrified wood would have been better, but there might be a contrast - dead leaf - wood - everlasting God who made it.

5. Hope of the Nations. Sunflowers are just so upbeat. A photo from Chris S.

6. We Fall Down. Gold cross as per crowns in song.

7 Children leave for Power Hour. Ok it is my grandson some time ago, but it IS a Fall picture! and I do have "permission".

8. An option for the Scripture text. Our own windows. As always... discretion of the projectionist.

9. God of Every Nation. Photo of a monotone painting from Cuba.

10. Prayers of God's people

11. Offering (not including budget)

12. Statement of Faith

13. Song: Eat this Bread

14. Song: As we Gather at your Table... not my picture, but one of a set we have. Quite a "contrast" to my pictures above.

15. Sing Choirs of New Jerusalem

16. Forever by Brian Doerkson

18. Mighty to Save. The concept of ending with a sunset has some merit, but maybe better if we were charged with the dawn to go forth!

Optional for whatever doesn't show up well on the Overhead

optional for Scripture Text

another option. The Projection Team can see what looks good with text in front.
